Nocturne
A stage dress needs to work in motion. An evening gown should feel as good as it looks. With Nocturne, we consider how a dress will be worn as carefully as how it will be seen.

02 / Evening & stage
We design individual dresses for concerts, premieres, galas and celebrations. For performers, we consider the movements and practical demands of the performance, as well as the way colour and fabric respond to light.
Whether understated or expressive, the design takes shape through conversation. Together we decide on a silhouette, fabrics and details that suit the occasion.

Nocturne · A recent project
Some encounters stay with you from the very first notes. For a recent project, we created this couture gown for a young violinist whose talent made a profound impression on us. Her musicality and the dedication she brings to her playing inspired us to design a piece especially for her.
The idea was to complement her delicate silhouette with light, softly coloured, understated fabrics, allowing her youthful presence to shine without adding weight or overwhelming her. The pale fabric combines sheer areas with a delicate pattern of circular motifs. Navy-blue velvet ribbons introduce a crisp contrast, crossing the bodice and defining the waist as the long skirt falls softly to the floor. They give the delicate surface a clear structure while preserving its lightness.
When designing for a musician, movement is part of the brief. Posture with the instrument, the sweep of the bow and freedom through the arms all need careful consideration. The dress should support the performance, allowing the artist to focus on her music.
The photograph captures the young violinist playing in our Berlin showroom at Uhlandstraße 130: a personal moment from the project. It is a pleasure to accompany an emerging artist for part of her journey, with a creation that gives expression to her individual personality.

Your dress is made to your measurements in our atelier. Fittings allow us to refine its lines, length and ease of movement. We plan the schedule around your occasion.
Get in touch as early as you can and let us know the date of your occasion. The time needed depends on the design, materials and our schedule. After an initial conversation, we can plan the process with you.
No. Pictures and fabric references can be helpful, but they aren’t essential. We’ll explore the direction together.
The cost depends on the design, fabrics and work involved. Once the scope is clear, we discuss a quotation with you before making begins.
